THE PROCESS

1. Get to know you and your book
We'll start with a preliminary call to discuss your book's editing needs and the overall vision. As an editor, I first want to understand the soul of your project to ensure I'm always working with that in mind. Once we evaluate the type of editing your book requires, we can discuss transparent expectations for timelines and pricing before any agreements are made.
2. Editing and feedback
My approach to editing is very collaborative so you feel involved every step of the way. I like to begin with an unbiased readthrough of your book as a whole and will provide initial thoughts. Next, I'll edit in sections with a track-changes word document and we'll schedule calls throughout to make sure we're on the right track.
I'm always happy to offer custom processes to find what works best for you.

3. Final touches
After going through the full editing process, we'll take a step back and look at your book again to make sure we've addressed all your needs. I'll always do my best to ensure the author is satisfied and sees improvement in their book before we consider it complete.

I'm a passionate bibliophile with a B.A. in Comparative Literature. It's my mission to help authors bring their books to the world because I believe everyone has an incredible story waiting to be told. With each piece of work, I do my best to deliver honesty, clarity, and dramatic results.
I intentionally read numerous genres regularly, but literary fiction, fantasy, science fiction, and folklore/mythology are my comfort genres. Check out my blog for my latest recommendations.
I'm excited to help you bring your book to life!
